Love the style

Man, I love your style. This is yet another REALLY excellent piece of work. I recommend you check out some of the older...and newest stuff by Joe Satriani...if you haven't already. He uses some of the same ideas you've got here...and that's good news since the guy taught Metallica's lead how to play his freakin guitar. hehe. 5ed.

Really excellent.

This is really excellent. I love it. The mix of classical, but jazzy ideas with a breaky groove is fun and very reminiscent of many themes appearing in the better RPGs and even some film. Sort of Miyazaki meets triphop. Definitely don't stop making stuff like this. It stops a little suddenly, but NG only gives us a short time constraint. Sounds like it with an added second theme, it could go 6 or 7 minutes to be a real piece of work. It also offers openings for some real improv on that piano, don't be affraid to embelish the melody.

Thank you Doc_Marsh for your thoughts. Newgrounds is a place where I am able to showcase fragments of my heart's thoughts. Deep down, (where there isn't a size limit mind you) the core of my music doesn't stop for a second in my day-today life.

In saying this, yes, absolutely it could be 6 o7 minutes long. ;)

Excellent melody and the energy is really THERE!

I'm really liking this. It has tons of energy, but that's not all it has to offer. The melodies and each synth line is well formed. Has a touch more of an orchestral feel than I'd like a few places toward the end. The ending was pretty forced, but whatchagonnado with NG's time restraints? If it were longer, there would be more time for builds. I'd say make the longer one if you haven't already and take some time to build up those riffs and drive'em home. There were a few times where the build started but didn't quite hammer it home...such as where the ethnic stuff came in. That might have been a better place to get in another louder refrain. But altogether...very cool.
